2. Lil Uzi Vert

Rapper known for his mixtape Luv Is Rage, which was released on October 30, 2015. Before fame Lil Uzi credits his high school friend William Aston for getting him into rapping. He approached Aston after hearing him freestyle and was eventually encouraged to do it himself. He became a fan of Marilyn Manson when he was a young teenager. He grew up in North Philadelphia. Associated with rap stars like Wiz Khalifa and Young Thug were featured on Luv Is Rage.

Earlier this week, Lil Uzi Vert announced he was dropping a joint tape with Gucci Mane, and today he’s delivered the project. Aptly titled 1017 Vs. The World, the tape sports 7 tracks, and features production from both artists’ stables. Honorable C-Note, Zaytoven, DP Beatz, GloHan Beatz, and perhaps most surprisingly, Mannie Fresh contribute beats.

    3. 2fourhrs.

24Hours. Young, talented, and unknown to his growing audience, 24hrs has taken a unique approach to spreading this hypnotizing sound that lands in between Trap & RnB. Reverting to the art of mystery, this youthful voice speaks so maturely as he fine2fourhrssses conversation over amazing APEX productions. Strong lyrics grasp your attention and intense audio engineering cements your focus to his every note and word.

To go faceless in the music industry is a growing approach but few have mastered the art. 24hrs is a wizard of mystery and a marks-man when it comes to delivering hits. Utilizing relationships that count, he has made a name that has attracted some of music’s leading names and have received endorsements that has him buzzing. Artist, A&R’s and big labels have taken a closer look to who it is speaking so ‘brody’ on these records but refusing to show his face, even at shows. At the top of 2016, 24hours released a self-titled EP that received major accolades and even had him booked for shows. This genius thought it wise to host his shows with a projection rather than his own face. With help from Visual vigilante UnkleLuc, 24hours has yet to actually appear on the stages he has been booked for, but this concept has only been praised and venues continue to hit max capacity. Maintaining mystery has been very successful24hrs, but makes us question how long can he keep this going before the demand is to strong.

Now as for his music, well this speaks for itself. Contagious productions mesh with 24’s youthful pitch and tone and leaves a level of energy that only today’s youth can provide. His most recent release is the growing popular track “Stylist” where 24 goes off on a young ladies choice in style, fashion, men and more. His close friend APEX sustains the mood with a simple Trap heavy beat that features dark grand piano keys and a off-tempo bongo in the background. Not short of the ATL 808 sound, 24 separates himself from the competition by keeping it short and sweet. His entire collection of records never reaches past 2 minutes and some seconds of music. He is not only teasing with releases, but keeping everyone at bay from who he is visually while delivering his message sonically.

    My favorites tracks from 24hrs:

    1. Monster Truck 3:33

    2. Back For Me 2:11

    3. Stylist 1:50

    4. TIME 2:15

    5. Queen 2:5

    6. Special 2:35

     7. Night Rider 2:45

    4. Fetty wap

    fetty-wap-betx1

Willie Maxwell II, better known as Fetty Wap, is one of the up-and-coming hip-hop musicians of the past couple years. The “Trap Queen” singer has been in the spotlight since he released his first single, but despite his time in the spotlight, there are still some things that many people don’t know about him. Here, PPcorn presents a list of 15 facts you probably didn’t know about Fetty Wap.

Drake took notice of Fetty Wap when his song, “My Way,” was going around the scene. Fetty Wap has claimed that Drake contacted him first through Instagram. They also FaceTimed together.drake-taylor-swift-dating-featured

Though a lot of people have disdain for Brady, we can’t deny that he has good taste in music when it comes to Fetty Wap. After Brady won his fourth Super Bowl, he showed off dance moves while listening to Fetty Wap’s “Trap Queen.”

Fetty Wap has never shied away from the fact that he has only one eye. One rumor has spread that he shot himself in the eye when he was a kid, but this is not actually the case. In reality, Fetty Wap contracted congenital glaucoma as an infant in both eyes, but the doctor was only able to save one eye. He has since embraced his missing eye and does not use a prosthetic one.

In fact, he likes Gucci so much that his name is a hat tip to him. The name “Fetty” represents money. “Wap,” however, is a nod to Gucci, who also goes by Guwop.

It’s true. When Fetty Wap was growing up, he was never able to afford Air Jordan’s, but once he became famous, he began buying “a pair a day.”

Fetty Wap got a lot of flack when he changed his hair to the dreadlocks. However, he said, “I just be counting money.” He pays no mind to the critics.

The 24-year-old has two children, one girl and one boy. They are named Zaviera and Aydin, respectively.

For her 1989 World tour, Swift performed with many huge celebrities. One of these was Fetty Wap. She has admitted that she is a big fan, and she loves his music and his personality.

And he was hospitalized because of it. Fetty Wap was riding his motorcycle in September of 2015, and he got into a very bad accident. However, he was able to heal properly and promptly recovered.0926-sub-fetty-wap-accident-tmz-6

Fetty Wap has said that he dreamed of making money so he could buy the things for his loved ones that they truly deserve. He dreams of creating opportunities for his friends and family to succeeds. When he was just 23 years old, he bought his mom her first house.

Really! The rapper said in an interview that his favorite meal of all time is steak with mashed potatoes. He is also a fan of In-N-Out.

Wap has admitted that he owns more than 150 pairs of Robin’s Jeans. He then went on to say that he would love to design his own line.

Fetty Wap said in an interview that he taught himself how to play both the piano and drums. He really is a triple threat!

Judgmental people. Fetty Wap thinks the worst quality a person can have is to be judgmental.

Fetty Wap has been very open about his life and personal life. He said that on the very day he was signed, he called his son and was crying to him before his son even knew what was going on. So cute!

7. Dae Dae.

89a05120e77bf375c6a509843fafa057

Dae Dae’s “Wat U Mean” was a huge breakthrough for the Atlanta rapper, and “Spend It” is a worthy follow-up which has now received it’s inevitable remix. He was featured on a single by Bubskee in 2013 called “Get Rich.” before he was famous. He was signed by Nitti Beatz Recordings in 2015. He had his first child when he was only 14 years old. His real name is Marquavis Goolsby. Dae Dae and Lil Donald‘s music has been featured on the YouTube channel Playmaker Worldwide.

Interesting facts behind Dae Dae’s “What U Mean”

The young rapper was doing flooring and concrete work when he began writing on his first hit single. While at work,Dae Dae would start freestyling mentally, working with apps on his iPhone, before contacting his producer about recording the song.

Support from the family.

Dae Dae’s father plays a big role in his career, his father actually made him buy my first studio. Dae dae wanted to go out and buy dirt-bikes with his first income pay, but his father was like, “Why don’t you buy a studio ‘cuz you always rapping?”, Dae dae considered it and said “you’re right” so they went out and ended up with a studio in the house—SO, he started learning to use the programs, how to record and stuff. Dae Dae said “i’d have my music playing out loud and my father would listen to it, and when I’d be working on music late night he’d wake up and see what I’d be working on.”

Dae Dae’s mama has always supported, she was one of those who really liked to sing. She’d always be singing whenever we were at her house, and that’s why you’ll hear him singing sometimes on his mixtapes. his mama inspired him to sing too. His cousins, they all supported Dae Dae, and his grandma is really proud – she even does a little dancing of her own to the records.

How were Dae Dae discovered?

“Well the first thing I did was I always let my friends hear my record, but I basically wasn’t pushing my [them], I’d just let my friends and family hear it. But then I ended up meeting with this girl, Antoinette and said, ‘why don’t you go to an open mic?’ And at first I didn’t want to do it, but she en
ded up convincing me to go and I ended up performing “What U Mean”, and got a great response from the audience. I also ended up meeting DJ Playboi, and we ended up playing at the same club for a while. From there I met my manager now, and a whole lot of new people” he said.

maxresdefaultThey were actually at 107.9, and they had this thing called The Battleground, which was a competition where two to three songs are played and fans choose which is the best. Dae Dae ended up winning, and that was when it started getting a lot crazier – “I mean I started getting a lot of feedback everywhere” Dae Dae said.

How the name “Dae Dae” came to be?

“I used to tell my friends that my family calls me ‘Dede’, but they’d mistake it for “Dae Dae” and kept calling me that. I ended up getting tired of correcting them, so the name stuck”

Best of Dae Dae.
